Melbourne Parish Council meets every two months. As a result, there are occasions when it is not possible to consider a planning application because the deadline for comments will have passed before the date of the next full meeting.
As a result, the Parish Council has set up a Planning Sub-Committee to consider the planning applications which cannot go to the main council meetings. The Sub-Committee consists of three members - Councillors Cooper, Johnson and Breeze - and meets when required. These are public meetings and all members of the public are welcome to attend.
